SIZE GUIDE
How to size your head for hats:
Start with basics: Three sizing systems, US Sizing, Metric Sizing and Letter Sizing. the first two are more exact than the last. Maufrais typically leads with the US and Letter Sizing.
US Sizing starts with 6 ¾ and goes up by ⅛ inches for each consecutive size. Ex: 6 ¾, 6 ⅞, 7, and so forth up to 7 ¾
Letter Sizing goes by Small, Medium, Large, and Extra-Large. These sizes encompass 2 or more of the Number Sizes. Ex: Typically, Small fits Number sizes 6 ¾ and 6 ⅞, Size Medium fits 7, and 7 ⅛, Large fits 7 ¼ and 7 ⅜, and Extra Large fits 7 ½ and 7 ⅝.
How to measure your head at home: A simple way is to use tailor’s tape and measure the circumference of your head.
Tip: Wrap the tape measure around your head parallel to the floor. You want to cross your forehead and be a finger or two above your ears.
Take your measurement and use the guide below to determine your size, and when in doubt, size up!)

HAT CARE GUIDE
-
How do I clean my felt hat?
There are three tools a horse hair brush, a lint roller, and a bit of high grit sandpaper (220+ grit).
1. Use a horsehair brush or hat cleaning sponge to knock off larger debris and get into the creases.
2. Lint rollers are great for picking up any deeper ingrained particles.
3. Sand paper is used to buff out stains.
4. If you do get a stain on your hat, wait 24 hours before buffing.
5. Brush felt counterclockwise to finish!
How do I clean my straw hat?
We recommend a simpler technique. Use a moistened paper towel to wipe any grime from your hat. You do not want too much moisture to absorb into the straw weaving. It will distort the shape and discolor the straw.
Did your brim fall out of place?
Use a little bit of steam to get it back in place! Steam will soften the felt or straw to become pliable again. Once you straighten the brim using a little bit of pressure/counter pressure, let the hat dry and it's all done!
*Hats are not waterproof. Please do not wear in heavy rain or extreme humidity.
